The Original Dog Whisperer

Paul, often referred to as the original Dog Whisperer, is celebrating his 45thanniversary as an internationally known professional dog trainer. Paul is the author of three books and 3 DVDs that have been translated into several languages and read and viewed by millions of people around the world.

Along with his decades of training thousands of people and their dogs in group and private classes, Paul was the founder/director of the children’s after-school dog safety and violence prevention program Paws for Peace. He has designed training programs for shelters and rescues and has long been one of the world’s leading voices promoting positive, force-free dog training in the world.

This ½ day benefit seminar will be Paul’s only 2018 appearance.

Ryan is an award-winning actor and production manager, best known for The Outsiders, Sons of Anarchy, Remember the Titans, The Lady Killers and We Were Soldiers. An avid animal lover and star dog trainer, Ryan and his wife Molly share their home with their awesome family of rescue dogs.

A half-day dog behavior and training seminar benefitting K9 Youth Alliance, a publicly funded, nonprofit organization that seeks to enrich the lives of young people and prepare abandoned dogs for permanent homes.

Dog professionals, pet parents and the general public can all learn how to better understand, communicate with and educate our beloved canine companions.

Cost: $75 Benefitting K9 Youth Alliance.

Donations to K9 Youth Alliance welcome, appreciated and tax deductible. Refreshments will be provided.

What is Mother Nature’s, behind-the-scenes role in learning? This half-day seminar is an introduction to how our dog’s brain works and why they do what they do. It will unlock the seemingly mysterious process of how memories, solutions to problems and desired behaviors can seem to “magically appear” in both our dogs and ourselves.
